Dr. Samantha Francis originally grew up just across the state line near Sturbridge, Massachusetts. She received a Bachelors of Science in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. While in undergrad she worked at a local emergency veterinary clinic, was an ambassador for her college and a teaching assistant for small animal science. She attended Ross University school of Veterinary Medicine in the Caribbean and completed her clinical year at Texas A & M University. During her clinical year she became Fear Free certified to provide a more comfortable and positive experience for her patients during visits.
Her spare time is spent with her large family, her two island cats Seraphina and Gus-Gus, reading, or doing yoga. Dr. Francis is excited to finally make it back to Connecticut and to be at Fenton River.
