Dr. Weston Brown grew up in Western Massachusetts raising and showing dairy goats in both 4-H and the American Dairy Goat Association. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in animal science, Weston received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2016. Following graduation, he worked in Harmony, Minnesota at a mixed animal practice for one year. Weston is excited to be back in his home of New England, working at Fenton River Veterinary Hospital as a mixed animal veterinarian.
Weston enjoys working with all species, he has a special interest in camelids, small ruminants, and donkeys. He has spent much of his career working with and researching these species. He and his wife Leah manage their hobby farm where they take care of donkeys, alpacas, chickens, and goats. He is a former licensed American Dairy Goat Association judge and is happy to help clients with any dairy goat questions. In his spare time, Weston enjoys spending time at home with his dogs, Shale a schnauzer/terrier mix and Beryl an Irish Wolfhound.
