Dr. Kathryn Garner grew up in Greenville, Pennsylvania. During school, she enjoyed riding her two horses, Magic and Chip. This led her to pursue a degree in equine science and management from Delaware Valley University, graduating in 2011. She then moved to Edinburgh, Scotland to complete her veterinary training at the University of Edinburgh Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. During veterinary school, she focused on both equine and farm animal medicine. Following graduation in 2016, she went on to complete a mixed-animal internship based at Myhre Equine Clinic in Rochester, New Hampshire. During the internship, she focused mostly on equine lameness and medicine.
During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Kiba James, and her cat, Samantha Jane. She also enjoys hiking, fishing, yoga, running, and spending time with her friends and family.
