Meet Our Team

  • Jacleen
    Practice Manager

    Jacleen moved to Connecticut in 2009 from rural Ohio and has been in the veterinary field for almost 20 years. She began her career as a boarding kennel volunteer, and over the years has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in positions such as Head Technician and Practice Manager. She chose to progress her career by taking on the position of Practice manager when we first opened in August 2015. Jacleen shows great compassion for each patient and loves to help and educate clients about animal health. Currently she is working to obtain the title of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, there are less than 600 CVPM's in the world, and we're excited to have one of our own!  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Dizzy and Wonton, and two one-eyed cats, Odin and Wallee.

  • Emily
    Supervisor - Small Animal Care

    Emily joined our team in September 2016, bringing three years of experience as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2015, where she double majored in animal science and in agriculture and natural resources. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and with her pug named Bella!

  • Morgan
    Supervisor - Large Animal Care

    Morgan has been with us since March 2016. Her previous experience in the field of veterinary medicine includes working at the Connecticut Humane Society and East of the River Veterinary Emergency Clinic at Bolton Veterinary Hospital. Outside of work, Morgan likes to spend time with her husband and daughter, and taking care of their herd of Boer goats and chickens.

  • Crystal
    Customer Service Supervisor

    Crystal joined our team in August 2017 and has been in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She has an A.S. in animal science from the University of Connecticut. Her love for animals started from a young age as an active member of 4-H, where she raised and showed Polled Hereford beef cattle. Crystal gained previous experience in the volunteering at the Connecticut Humane Society and working at another local veterinary establishment. Crystal enjoys assisting clients and their pets, and ensuring they are comfortable throughout their visit with us. Outside of work, Crystal and her Husband, Ed, have a small farm where they raise broadleaf tobacco and a variety of vegetables. Crystal especially loves spending time with her dog Tyson and working in the fields with her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Buddy and Daisy.

  • Kim

    Kim, a Tolland native, joined our team in May 2018, bringing almost 15 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist.  She spent her youth as an active member of 4-H, leading to her career in the veterinary field.  Kim lives in town with her husband and children, where they raise ducks, chickens, and other animals on their hobby farm.  They also have two dogs, Emma and Hunter, and three cats, Casper, Munchkin, and Twitch.

  • Kecia

    With the spring arriving and feeling the need for a fresh start, Kecia joined our team in April 2018. Bringing with her over 20 years of veterinary experience, she was excited to work at a veterinary hospital that focused on building exceptional client relationships. Having worked full time as a receptionist, as well a relief technician for several area veterinary emergency hospitals, she knows the importance of being compassionate with pet owners during their most difficult times and decisions. She loves educating clients on all of our products and services. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and trying to figure out a way to permanently keep her grand-doggy.   • Danielle

    Danielle joined Fenton River Veterinary Hospital in early 2016, eager to learn about the veterinary field. Although she is new to the veterinary setting, she has almost 15 years of experience working with large animals in 4-H and in her personal life. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014 with a degree in animal science. Danielle is a great asset to our team!

  • Mary

    Mary joined our team in September 2015 with over three years of experience as a veterinary assistant and a strong interest in large animal care. She grew up in Coventry, Connecticut and was involved in 4-H for 12 years, where she showed dairy goats, dairy cattle, and horses. Mary loves riding her retired race horse, Rose, and spending time with her dog, Remington. She also enjoys showing dairy cattle over the summer. Her upbeat personality and dedication to patient care are a great asset to our team!

  • Alicia

    Alicia has had a passion for helping animals all of her life. She obtained a B.S. in veterinary technology from Mount Ida College before starting off her career with us in June 2017. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her Aussidoodle, Sully.

  • Stephanie

    Stephanie graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in animal science. Before she started working with us in March 2017, Stephanie started working with animals as a daycare attendant at Candlewick Kennels, and then as a veterinary assistant at Bolton Veterinary Hospital. She has a dog named Cody, and three cats named Toby, Max, and Rhody. She also has two rabbits named Baloo and Carl. In her spare time, Stephanie likes to spend time with her family and working on craft projects.

  • Karl

    Karl earned his B.S. in biology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2016 and started working in the veterinary field shortly after. He joined our team in January 2018 and enjoys working with all types of animals - big, small, and anywhere in between. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, and especially his family’s golden retrievers, Abby and Kebo.

  • Kristen

    Kristen joined the team in April 2018, bringing five years of experience as a veterinary assistant. She graduated in 2016 from Becker College where she majored in veterinary technology. In her spare time, she loves being outside and doing anything that involves getting her hands dirty! Her family raises Red Devon cattle, along with a few donkeys on their little farm. She has had many exotic pets in the past, including chinchillas and Pac-Man frogs! She is a great addition to our team!

  • Kris

    Kris started working with us in May 2018 with four years of experience in the veterinary field. She's worked with an array of patients from large animals to pocket pets and reptiles! When Kris isn’t working, she enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and hiking, and hanging out with her cat, Zeke, and Pitbull, Bo Duke!

  • Corey

    Corey joined our team when our doors first opened in August 2015 with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. Although she has maintained a full-time career with another veterinary hospital, she likes to help us out on Saturdays every now and then. Corey grew up as an active member of 4-H and continues to stay active as a club leader in Tolland County. Outside of working, Corey likes to spend time with her husband and their Olde English Bulldogge, Gronk.

  • Megan

    Megan has been with Fenton River Veterinary Hospital since we first opened in August 2015. She started veterinary assisting in 2006 and has a strong background in 4-H, where she showed and raised multiple species of livestock. She works full time for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service but enjoys helping out on a Thursday night or Saturday occasionally. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with family and hiking with her dog, Fiona.

  • Caitlin
    Patient Hospitality Specialist

    Caitlin grew up in Vernon where she was an active member of the Willington Willing Workers 4-H club (remember this is our theme!). She participated in showing dogs, rabbits, and horses. She continued her passion for animals at the University of Connecticut where she was an active member of the UCONN Morgan Drill Team and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. When not working, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses and hanging out with her dog, Tanner, and guinea pigs, Tatl and Tael.
